وحتى رقص الجنيات مع العديد من أنواع الرقص على إيقاع زكير والبراميل من البرق الذي يفتح العينين التي يعتقد أن تكون مرتفعة
ولكن هي ثابتة على الأرض
Not too sure how to work out the formatting in Arabic script which is just as bad as my Arabic. Loosely translated into Malay:
Maka menarilah pari-pari
beraneka tari
berentak zikir digendangkan petir
membuka mata yang diperasan tinggi
tapi sesungguhnya
terpacak dibumi
Loosely translated into English:
And so danced the fairies
with all variety of dance
to the melody of zikir in the beat of the lightnings
revealed to the eyes that was thought to be lofty
but actually in reality
stood on the ground
In the context of present popular knowledge of humans, lightning causes the thunder. It is in this present popular knowledge that lightnings are alluded to in the passage above. It is to be noted that both thunder and lightning are mentioned in the Holy Quran. One place is at Surah Ar-Ra'ad ayah 13:
The online translation by Yusuf Ali from Quran.com states:
Nay, thunder repeateth His praises, and so do the angels, with awe: He flingeth the loud-voiced thunder-bolts, and therewith He striketh whomsoever He will..yet these (are the men) who (dare to) dispute about Allah, with the strength of His power (supreme)!
I attempt not to translate nor interpret but share my feelings on this:
"praises": "bihamdihi" the crude vocalisation from the ayah above, after the word "yu sabbihu" (again the crude vocalisation of the same)
And for those with the gift of hearing, the thunder not really claps but more of a roar, in the remembrance of the zikr of praises to Allah!
To be prod to remembrance or to be grooved to remembrance is the state of this puny mind to the greatness of a so called natural occurrence of weather.
